| Copenhagen, Denmark (Sports Network) - American defender Michael Parkhurst signed a contract extension with Danish side Nordsjaelland on Wednesday that ties him to the club until the end of 2012. The 27-year-old appeared in 115 games for the New England Revolution in Major League Soccer before moving on to Denmark in 2008, where he has made over 70 appearances. Nordsjaelland is currently in second place in the Danish Super League with Parkhurst the only player on the team to play every minute. |
